World's Tallest Building - Burj Dubai
Finally we have a new tallest building of the world called the Burg Dubai. It was inaugurated with a royal display of water, sound, light and fireworks.
Burj Dubai, is about 160 storey high and one of the tallest structure ever created by man kind i.e. about 2,625 feet (800 mtrs).
According to Christian Koch, Director of International Studies at the Gulf Research Center "This is not just a building that's a little bit bigger than other buildings. It's much bigger. Everybody will know about it. This is certainly going to represent the status of Dubai and the Arab Gulf as a whole for many years."
The world’s tallest building will definitely help Dubai to become a global hub from just being the regional hub of United Arab Emirates. It is a symbol of success. In midst of the current financial crisis and all the negative energy flowing in and around Dubai it symbolizes the realization of dreams and aspirations.
It is the pinnacle of the Dubai’s decade long boom in the construction and reality sector. The event was watched by the delegates from Britain, France, US and many other countries of the world as well as the ruled of Dubai Muhammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
