The Detroit Auto Show 2010 – Ford Set to Launch Global Focus

The 2010 Detroit auto show also known as the North American International Auto show starts today on 11th Jan and will be going on till 24th Jan. After a lackluster poor year in 2009 the Auto Industry is hoping to revive itself this year. This year the smaller, energy efficient green cars are seen as the cars of the future and most of the auto makers are emphasizing on producing such cars.

Many big car makers like Toyota, Ford, GM, Mercedes, Honda will be showcasing their concept cars in the event to get a review before producing them in the coming few years. After the repercussions of the last year many big auto makers will not be able to participate this year. It is estimated that there will be around 20% less participation this year in the Detroit Auto show this year. Ford has made one of the biggest come back from bad times. It revealed some pictures and information about the car called Ford Global Focus which it is going to launch tonight.
